Biographical information from 'The Tale of Dandy
Dandelion and His Band of Unruly Weed Fairies':
Born in Montreal, Elizabeth van Dreunen travelled extensively
when she was younger, gathering knowledge from
metaphysicians, yogis, herbalists, and other sages. Elizabeth
has a Master’s degree in Recreation and Leisure (University of
Waterloo, 1995). A yoga teacher, naturalist, writer and artisan,
Elizabeth has lived along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia for
14 years.
"A holistic approach to the cause of an imbalance within our
body examines not only the physical layer but also the
emotional, mental, and spiritual layers that are affecting our
health. We live in a chaotic world that compels us to work hard
and seemingly leaves us with little time for recreating ourselves.
But spending any amount of time appreciating nature helps us
to reconnect with our inner spirit, our inner child, our source
energy and ultimately our oneness with the universe.
Celebrating what is happening in our lives each moment brings
us opportunities to envision and create a healthier future."
